  1. 1. I like how the author doesn't forget about Valentine and Peter, instead he brings them into the plot itself.
    2. Will Peter be working against the Buggers or with them?
    3. "THE Wiggin is the third." I chose this quote because it really displays quite how important Ender is compared to the other characters in the story.

  2. I like how everything is comming together. in this book it has seemingly two different story's that branch off from the beginning of the book, one about Ender and one about Valentine and Peter. in this section we get to see these two story's collide and it makes thing very interesting. We got to see how Ender changed through the confrontation between him and Valentine but I wonder how this event changed Valentine and what she will do next? "I didn't want to hurt him" I picked this because it tells us what type of situation Ender is in, In order to survive he has to hurt others and helps us under stand the stress that under must be feeling.

  3. This week Ender is having to face what he is most afraid of, and is being pushed harder than ever. As the book is coming to a close I really like what is happening. Ender's fight with Bonzo shows us just how powerful he really is. And even though he doesn't want to hurt anybody, he keeps on doing it by accident. Another thing I really like is how all the story's are staring to come together. So far Ender's story and Peter and valentines story has been completely separate. But now Ender gets an idea of what his family is doing. I wonder how this will tie in more with Ender and if Peter will actually gain control. At the moment though, it looks like valentine might actually get control first. Another thing I liked about this section is how much Ender changed. When we compare his time with Valentine to when he was younger you can see how much he has changed. Also, I am exited to see what the new command school is like and how prepared Ender is for it. A quote that stood out to me in this section was " In the moment when I truly understand my enemy, understand him well enough to defeat him, then in that very moment I also love him." This stands out to me because it really explains why Ender doesn't want to hurt anybody and why he always feels so sad when he does. Another thing about this quote is that is causes a problem for Colonel Graff and the others, because this means Ender probably won't want to kill the buggers. I am really exited to see what happens next.

  4. This weeks add on to Enders game has been a lot and has said and told a lot more about Ender and just how smart he actually is. When Ender had his fight with Bonzo in the showers it showed us his true strategy and how he is not the fighter of the group but rather the leader and strategizer of the group. I really like how realistic the book has become and how strong the reader gets about Enders feelings and his perspective. Ender really doesnt like what he has done over the past years such as hurting people so I wonder what he is going to do to fix this or if he is going to do anything different to make up for these mistakes or do nothing. "Why did they kill the crew? why not? to them, losing a few crew members would be like clipping your nails." I chose this quote from the book because it really shows and gives an understanding of what the buggers do and how much they actually care about their crew and also what they are capable of. Overall I am really exited for what has to come in the next weeks reading.
