  1. I have enjoyed the book so far my favorite aspect is how the odds keep stacking against Ender, but he keeps prevailing. I wonder what will happen to Peter and Valentine, will they be found out and if they are what will become of them? "There's a limit to how many clever new ideas I can come up with every day." - Page 197 I like this quote because it reminds us that Ender is a human too and has his flaws.

  2. 1. I like the slang the author used, it makes the book feel more real.
    2. How is Ender and Petra's relationship going to play out?
    3. "No good soldier ever disobeys." This reminds us what being soldier is like, being controlled and all that nonsense.

  3. In this weeks reading there were both good and bad points and perspectives. In the reading this week I found that there was a lot more fiction whichI peronally dont like in a book which made it a lot more boring to read. On the other hand though Ender is getting into the more serious part of training and is starting to seem like he keeps getting himself into a bad spot. Eventhough the book keeps drifting away from the type of readings that I like the intesnity and suprises that you get every chapter seem to keep me on my toes. Like last week I still have the prediction that Ender is going to find himself in a bad spot and get hurt but I also feel like Valintine and Peter are going to rip each other apart while ender is gone due to the fighting that has been happening. The quote that I have chosen that I find says a lot and is very meaningful is In page 104 when Ender says to Rose "I need trigonometry more then I need you." I find that this says a lot about Ender and his personality towards other people and that I he thinks that he can do anything by himself and doesnt really appreciate anyone else and what they may do for him. Eventhough the book is not my favorite type of book it seems to keep me on my toes which is what we look for in a book!

  4. For this week the book is getting a lot more serious. Ender's original friends are being taken away from him and now he is being given an impossible schedule. At the moment I really like what is happening with Ender and I wonder how he will cope with it. I want to see how far the school is willing to go to push Ender and if he will give up in the end. Another thing that is going on is Peter and Valentine, and I wonder how far they will go and how much Valentine will change. I predict that Valentine will change because of Peters plan. Maybe Valentine will be better than Peter and she will start to turn into her character, Demosthenes and will start to get power for herself. Eventually I think that Ender will be separated from his new friends or army again because he is getting to connected to them. This will definitely impact Ender and we will see how he can handle that. One of the most important quotes this week was when Ender was talking to bean. He said to Ender "They can't break you." and Ender replied "You'd be surprised." I think this is really important because it is one of the only times Ender has told someone about his fear and weakness. It also shows us how much the teachers are pushing him and even though he acts tough in the army, he really is scared and worn out. This week has been very exiting and I wonder what the teachers will throw at him next.
